OZYALVAC

Privacy Policy | Last Updated: July 2026

At OZYALVAC, operated and maintained by Özyalvaç Media Group, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of data protection, user privacy, and editorial transparency. This Privacy Policy governs your use of the OZYALVAC newsroom media publishing and content distribution extension (“Application”, “Service”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) and explicitly outlines our policies regarding the collection, transmission, processing, storage, and deletion of user data when interfacing with external APIs, specifically the official TikTok Content Posting API.

1. Scope of Agreement and Primary Purpose

OZYALVAC is a dedicated press integration utility developed specifically for newspaper organizations, journalists, and media publications. The application functions as a unified dashboard extension designed to enable newsrooms to seamlessly transfer and publish original video and photo news content directly to official TikTok channels. All backend infrastructure and brand identities associated with OZYALVAC are owned exclusively by Özyalvaç Media Group.

2. Information We Access, Collect, and Process

To facilitate manual and editorially approved content publishing, OZYALVAC operates under a strict principle of data minimization. We only access and process information explicitly selected and initiated by news editors or authorized creators:

A. Press & Editorial Assets

  • Media Files: Original video and image content produced by news organizations (e.g., MP4, MOV, JPEG, PNG formats) selected for publication on TikTok.
  • Editorial Metadata: News captions, headlines, article summaries, custom tags, and hashtags authored or confirmed by the editor prior to publishing.
  • Publishing Preferences: User-selected privacy visibility settings (e.g., Public, Friends Only, Private) chosen at the moment of content upload.

B. Technical and Authentication Identifiers

  • OAuth Authentication Tokens: Secure Access Tokens and Refresh Tokens issued directly by TikTok’s authentication server upon explicit user authorization.
  • Operational Logs: Server-level request logs (including IP address, browser user-agent, and system request timestamps) generated strictly for system monitoring, error debugging, and connection stability.

C. Information We DO NOT Collect

  • We do not collect, harvest, store, or profile personal biometric data, location history, contacts, or personal user profiles.
  • We do not access or process financial data, credit card information, or payment credentials.
  • We do not perform background tracking, analytics profiling, or behavioral monitoring.

3. Legal Basis and Purpose of Data Processing

All data processing activities within OZYALVAC are executed strictly to support editorial workflow execution initiated directly by newsroom staff:

  1. Content Publishing: Allowing news organization staff to authenticate their TikTok account and publish newspaper-produced video and visual assets directly via the TikTok Content Posting API.
  2. Session Maintenance: Managing authorized publisher access securely without requesting or storing raw account passwords.
  3. Security & Stability: Protecting network endpoints against unauthorized access, API misuse, or rate limit exceptions.

4. TikTok Content Posting API Disclosures & OAuth Standards

OZYALVAC adheres strictly to official TikTok Developer Terms, Policies, and API Guidelines:

  • OAuth 2.0 Protection: Authentication is handled entirely via official TikTok OAuth 2.0 endpoints. OZYALVAC never requests, intercepts, or stores plain-text TikTok login credentials.
  • Scope Isolation: Access is limited exclusively to the specific scopes required for content distribution (e.g., user.info.basic, video.upload, video.publish).
  • Zero Data Commercialization: User assets, publishing logs, and access tokens are strictly confidential. We do not sell, share, rent, or monetize any media assets or metadata with third-party advertisers, data brokers, or AI modeling platforms.

5. Data Storage, Security, and File Lifecycle

A. Data Security Standards

All data transmissions between OZYALVAC, the editorial publishing portal, and TikTok’s external API endpoints are protected using industry-standard TLS 1.3 / SSL encryption.

B. Transient Asset Handling & Purging

Media files uploaded by journalists are stored temporarily in isolated cache directories only for the duration required to complete the transmission to TikTok’s upload servers. Once publishing confirmation is received, temporary local media caches are immediately cleared from system memory.

6. Comprehensive Data Deletion and Access Revocation

Users maintain full authority over their account connections and published media footprints at all times:

Method 1: Direct Access Revocation via TikTok

  1. Open the TikTok mobile app or log into tiktok.com.
  2. Go to Profile > Settings and Privacy.
  3. Select Security & Permissions > Manage App Permissions.
  4. Locate OZYALVAC and click Remove Access.

Method 2: Manual Data Deletion Request

Publishers can request the complete removal of configuration settings or connection logs by emailing our technical team. Requests are executed within 24 to 48 hours.

7. Third-Party Services & TikTok Terms

By using this extension to publish newspaper media to TikTok, publishers remain subject to TikTok’s official terms:

8. Updates to This Policy

Özyalvaç Media Group reserves the right to update this policy to align with API updates or newsroom publishing guidelines.
